Rabbi Aryeh Spero joined War Room to kick off Holy week with a powerful prayer for the nation.
The author of Push Back: Reclaiming the American Judeo-Christian Spirit made striking parallels to America today to what the Jewish people faced against Pharaoh in Egypt. Spero said America is going through a “time of testing.”
“We must speak the truth not allow ourselves to be silenced,” Spero said. “They wanted to silence Moses, they wanted to silence Jesus.”
“Our predicament is nowhere near as dire as the Hebrews,” Spero said. The problems are not as serious as the bondage of Pharaoh or during the American Revolution.
“If our ancestors could do it, then we can,” he said.
