The state of Wyoming has had enough of Liz Cheney. Lincoln County state committeeman Taylor Allred, who worked on the resolution condemning Cheney, explains why voters think censure is not enough.
Voters “insisted we add another line to call for her resignation. I’ve never seen people so fired up as they are now,” Allred said. “They are mad.”
The Wyoming Republican Party censured Cheney last week in a unanimous 45-0 vote. Allred said his phone has been ringing off the hook with angry constituents.
“Wyoming is a MAGA state, and she’s out there serving her own purposes…trying to buddy up with the Bidens and get herself in the good graces of the Democrats,” he said. “And we all know that’s never going to happen.”
“I do not see how she has any political future in Wyoming,” Allred said.
Wyoming state Rep. Ocean Andrew explained what the next steps are in holding Cheney accountable for her betrayal of her voters by joining the Democrats in their disgraceful impeachment. First up is a rally on Thursday with Rep. Matt Gaetz at the state capitol in Cheyenne.
